You may have arrived from Sandy Ward’s blog. She had a fabulous project!
I chose the Playful Pets Suite for this months hop. I was away at a retreat and had a few challenges so I used the Pampered Pets Suite and came up with the items below. I chose to do Simple Stamping for these cards which is not my normal, but hey, I am doing challenges right!
The first card I made was for a Fun Fold Challenge. Out of the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper, I chose a dog themed paper. I stamped the dog image for the front and colored it with my blends. I used the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch for the greeting on the front of the card.

My second challenge was a 6×6″ One Page Wonder. I was able to make 5 cards using the 5 cut pieces from the designer series paper. The red striped paper is another sheet included in the Playful Pets paper pack. I stamped some of the images and colored them with my blends and I cut out two of the cats from the designer series paper. I also used the Stitched So Sweetly dies and the Wrapped in Texture embossing folders to create this group of cards.

The next group I did for a Christmas Themed Project Challenge. I made Matchbox Pet Treat Boxes. These are perfect to give to the favorite pets in your life! Our cat Lucky always “helps” me in whatever I am doing and she enjoyed sampling a treat for quality assurance! The Mini Milkbone biscuits are so darn cute too! My grand-dog Piper is a Golden Doodle. She will think these biscuits are a tease! Good thing there are several in the box.
These were made using the Playful Pets Designer Series paper. I used a dog and a cat themed piece for each of the covers. I stamped the cat and the dog and colored them with my blends. The greeting for these came from the Warm Hugs stamp set and these are tied with the black and white twine from the Playful Pets combo pack.

Cut 1 piece of Early Expresso 4-1/4 x 11″ and score at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″.
Fold card in half and fold back the front. Using bone folder, burnish the folds.
Cut 1 piece of DSP 2-1/2 x 4. Glue to front.
Cut a piece of Gold Foil paper 2-3/4 x 4″. Glue on left half of piece to front.
Cut Old Olive and Whisper White pieces from dies. Stamp whisper white with sentiment. Glue to gold piece.
Stamp and punch 2 daisies. Color with blends. Using picking tool with large ball end, shape flowers. Glue 2 daisies together and add a gold gilded gem to the center.
Attach to card with a dimensional in the center.
Cut a piece of DSP 4x 5-1/4″ and glue to inside.
Cut whisper white 2-1/2×4″. Stamp with daisy and sentiment. Color daisy with blends.
Glue to inside making sure it matches spacing to same size piece on front of card. They should line up.

I chose the Ornate Garden Suite to create this months card. I can’t get enough of this suite. I absolutely love the detailed lace dies and think I have used them on nearly every card I have been making!
This is an elegant birthday card with several layers put together. The white layer is die cut from one of the Ornate Layers dies and then embossed with the Ornate Floral embossing folder. The yellow layer is die cut from one of the Ornate Layers dies as well. The flower is stamped with the large Ornate Flower stamp and colored with Stampin’ Blends. There is Wink of Stella on the flowers to give them some shimmer and Gold Gilded gems to finish it off!
